A product designer who creates experiences that move with people
I learnt about the world by moving through it. I grew up in seven countries and saw early that people value what they can connect with. Human connection is what turns lovely into extraordinary. That’s my north star in design.
In past couple of years I found my itch: designing the connection between the physical and digital worlds (my ikigai). I started in automotive, then worked on communication tools and eyewear. Every product was different, but they all had the same problem to solve. They had to work while people were moving: through a city, a conversation, or a new technology.
My core strengths are systems thinking and interaction design. I ship with code, scale with AI, and use strategy to build experiences that feel intuitive and elevated. The goal is to make people excited to step into the digital future.
Outside of work, I explore how AI and technology can connect people in unexpected ways. Thank you for stopping by.
"Devyani eagerly picked up some highly visible and impactful work on interfaces for interactions and blocked users. Our teams weren't able to prioritize this, and Devyani not only got it designed, but shipped as well as loved and immediately adopted by a staggering number of users. The quality of Devyani's work wasn't that of an intern, but any other senior designer on the team."

"Devyani brought incredible energy, independence, and optimism to Core UX Design. She transformed ambiguity into structure, built relationships quickly, sought feedback, adapted when priorities changed, and moved ideas into prototypes, research, PRs, and shipped work. She also became one of the strongest examples of managing up on my team. Her proactive updates made it easy for me to understand her progress, decisions, and where she needed support. I was especially impressed by how quickly she grew into GitHub’s agentic ways of working. She used AI to build, helped advance our internal systems and tooling, authored multiple PRs. I loved having her on the team and would gladly work with her again."

"Devyani was an amazing addition to the Tiny Wins team and made a big impact. She was always eager to jump in and explore new areas, even beyond her core role. I especially appreciated how much she went above and beyond by offering to write the staff ship post for the blocked users settings release, opening PRs to fix some of the labels we added to the page, and coordinating with Platform Health to make sure all the legal requirements were covered. She was thoughtful, proactive, and genuinely fun to work with, and we’re really going to miss her!"

"I really enjoyed working with Devyani. I was impressed by how quickly she understood what we were trying to achieve and how she turned an unfamiliar area into a useful contribution. She brought curiosity, attention to detail, care and a fresh perspective to our team."

“It's been great having Devyani on the team. Her enthusiasm and fresh perspective have really elevated how I think of design now. She made a great impact here.”

"She has what us most critical for a designer to succeed: curiosity, humility, and willingness to share what she knows. Everyone was impressed with the insights and her call to unship more features was very inspiring."
